π€Tip: If any changes are made to the daily rate or SSP qualifying days, you will need to re-run system checks.
Daily rate
The employees' daily rate calculation depends on the option chosen in their employee record. The quickest way to check an employee's calculated daily rate is via amend pay. To do this, follow the steps below.
Click Payroll, and then click Run Payroll.
Find and select the required employee.
Click the Rates tab.
If you believe the daily rate value is incorrect, you will need to update the employee's working pattern and ensure the required pay elements have Use for Daily Rate selected.
SSP qualifying days
The days that qualify as working days in the OSP calculation are determined by the SSP qualifying days. To view this, follow the steps below.
πNote: Where possible, only have one qualifying day line.
Click Payroll, and then click Employees.
Find and select the required employee.
Click Open Employee, then click the SSP Entitlement tab.
