Some payments may require class 1A NIC to be paid. To enable this on the pay element, follow the steps below.
Click Payroll, and then click Pay Elements.
📌Note: If you already have a pay element, select it and click Open Pay Element, and skip to step 3.
Click New Pay element, and then enter a name.
Select the required checkboxes, including Real-time class 1A NIC.
Click Save and Close.
Assign to pay element to any required employees; alternatively, update standard pay elements for any employees who already have the pay element.
