Error: 'Couldn't open this program or file'

Couldn't open this program. Either there was a problem with Selectpay v2025r1 or the file you're trying to open couldn't be accessed.

If this error appears after you've updated SelectPay to the latest version, this is because the SelectPay connection is out of date.

To download the latest connection, follow the steps below.

  1. In your browser, go to your login URL, RDWeb.

  2. Enter your cloud username and password.

  3. Click SelectPay. This downloads a link to our servers.

  4. Open Windows File Explorer, then open your Downloads folder.

  5. Double-click the file beginning with cpub-SelectPay_.

  6. When the login window appears, click More Choices.

  7. Click Use a different account then enter your cloud credentials.
