The update pay rates wizard allows you to update a pay element rate by a percentage or fixed amount for all employees who have the pay element assigned. To do this, follow the steps below.
Click Utilities, and then click Update Pay Rates.
Click Backup, and then click Ok.
Click Next, set the search type for code to be, equal to.
In the from field, click the magnifying glass
icon.Find and double-click the required pay element.
Click Next, select the checkbox.
Click Next, and then click Next.
Review the included employees; if required, deselect employees.
Click Next, adjust the drop-downs accordingly.
Increase:- Increase the pay element by the value entered.
Decrease:- Decrease the pay element by the value entered.
Percentage:- Increase the pay element rate by a percentage.
Value:- Increase the pay element rate by a static value.
Enter a figure to increase or decrease the pay element by.
πNote: If a multiple pension pay element uses the pay elements figure, select the update multiples checkbox.
Click Update.
