Submit and EPS (no payment)

Submit and RTI to HMRC when no payments have been made.

If you've processed a period without any payments, but are required to submit an RTI to HMRC, you will need to submit an EPS (no payment). To do this, follow the steps below.

πŸ“ŒNote: Cessation dates are included in the EPS (no payment) submission.

  1. Click Utilities, and then click Send.

  2. Click EPS (no payment), then click the tick icon.

  3. When the message, would you like to submit the EPS as a test, appears, select the relevant option.

    • Yes: Submit this as a test.

    • No: Submit this as live.

  4. When the option to compress the submission appears, click No.
