By adding a cessation date and then submitting a form of RTI, you will be informing HMRC that the PAYE reference is closing. To do this, follow the steps below.
⚠️Warning! You must submit an RTI for HMRC to receive this information.
This must be submitted on either;
Your last pay-processing FPS.
The EPS or EPS (no payment), submitted after period end.
Click System, and then click Company Details.
Enter the desired date into the cessation date field.
Click Save and Close.
