Create AOI data connections

Create a new data connection in Access Office Integration (AOI).

AOI is a useful tool to enable building custom reports on your SelectPay data. To retrieve the data from SelectPay, you first need to set up a data connection. To do this, follow the steps under the relevant section below.

Hosted

  1. In your browser, go to your login URL.

  2. Enter your cloud username and password.

  3. Click AOI Administrator, then click Data Connections.

  4. Click the connection type drop-down and click Access SelectPay (Hosted).

  5. Check the Domain is Cloud, then enter your cloud username.

  6. Enter the account password.

  7. Check the HTTPS Server URL is: aoilive2.accessaCloud.com

  8. Click the Database drop-down, and click the SelectPay database.

  9. Click Add.

    • To make a default connection, click Make Default, then click Ok.


On-premise

  1. Press the Windows key and search for 'AOI'.

  2. Click AOI Administrator, then click Data Connections.

  3. Click the connection type drop-down and click Access SelectPay.

    • If using a Windows authenticated user, select the Windows checkbox.

  4. Enter your SelectPay username and password.

  5. Select the checkboxes, TCP and Secure Connection.

  6. In the TCP Server field, enter the server name and port number for SelectPay.

  7. Click the Database drop-down, and click the SelectPay database.

  8. Click Add.

    • To make a default connection, click Make Default, then click Ok.

Port number and server name

If you are self-hosted and need to find your port number and service server name, follow the steps below.

  1. Press the Windows key, and search for 'SelectPay'.

  2. Click the SelectPay Client application.

  3. Click the two arrows >>.

  4. Note down the TCP Server and Port number.
