The cause of the nominal journal not containing the apprentice levy figure is the order in which the reports were processed. You must produce the statutory return first, then the nominal. To workaround this, follow the relevant section below.
Process a separate nominal
If you have already completed the nominal wizard, you can produce a separate nominal with only the apprentice levy figures and add them in manually. To do this, follow the steps below.
Update the statutory return.
Update the nominal journal.
You will now have 2 nominal journals that can be combined manually outside of SelectPay.
Restore and reprocess
If you require the nominal journal to contain the figures, it will require a restore. If a backup has been taken, restore to the backup just before you processed the nominal journal.
