SelectPay allows you to create a security profile, in which you can create a permissions list that will limit the abilities of any user assigned to the profile. To create a security profile, follow the relevant steps below.
Considerations
To create or edit a security profile, you must be using a payroll administrator user.
If one or more pay frequencies have been restricted, the user will be unable to generate the nominal journal.
Create a security profile
Click System, and then click Security Profile.
Click New Profile.
Enter a relevant code, maximum of 10 characters.
Enter a name for the security profile.
Select or deselect the required check boxes on each tab.
Click Save and Close.
Assign a security profile
Once you have created a security profile, you can now assign it to a user. To do this, follow the steps below.
Click System, and then click User Records.
Find and select the required user.
Click Open User, and then click the magnifying glass
icon.Double-click the required security profile.
Click Save and Close.
