The following error appears when entering sickness, the added or subtracted value results in an un-representable DateTime.

When adding sickness to an employee, you may come across the error message, the added or subtracted value results in an un-representable DateTime. This error is caused by the employee having no sickness qualifying days. To find the employee and set qualifying days, follow the relevant steps below.

Find the employee

  1. Click Payroll, and then click Reports.

  2. Click Payroll Reports.

  3. Click the + icon to expand employee and then general.

  4. Click Employee list with SSP entitlement, and then click Print Preview.

  5. Review the list, looking for an employee who doesn't have a yes under any day.


Set qualifying days

  1. Click Payroll, and then click Employees.

  2. Find and select the required employee.

  3. Click Open Employee, and then click the SSP entitlement tab.

  4. Select the checkboxes under the required days.

  5. Click Save and Close.
