Follow the instructions below to complete the integration between these two systems. An Access consultant must carry out the first-time configuration of HR and SelectPay integration.
If you are a hosted customer, reach out to your account manager to arrange this service with the consultancy team.
Before proceeding, consider the following;
The SelectPay Webservice must be installed.
SelectPay databases must have automatic numbering of employee records switched off.
Update the Web Service URL
If, during the installation, you've changed the virtual directory name in the web service details, you will need to update the payroll URL in the HR Service Administrator. To do this, follow the steps below.
Find the HR service URL
Using an administrator account, log in to the server hosting SelectPay.
Press the Windows key and search for IIS.
Click IIS, and then expand the local machine.
Expand Sites, and then expand the relevant web site.
Right-click the payroll service, and click Content View.
Right-click SelectPayHRIntegrationService.svc, and click Browse.
Copy the first URL on the page, excluding '?wsdl', and paste it into a notepad.
Update HR service administrator
Press the Windows key and search for SelectHR Service Administrator.
Click SelectHR Service Administrator, and then click Payroll.
Click Configure.
Click Yes to stop the service.
Select the relevant payroll to configure.
Paste the URL noted down earlier into the web service location field.
Click Connect, then click Apply and Close.
Click the green arrow to start the service.
