The error message is generated as you have already submitted the P11D to HMRC. To check this, follow one of the points below.
Review the receipt confirmation emails received from HMRC.
Log in to the HMRC gateway and review your submissions.
Error: 'Submission already received for this employer'
When submitting P11D's I get the error message, 5040 - submission already received for this employer.
