Error: 'The root location does not exist for the folder'

When trying to export a report I get the error message, the root location does not exist for the folder.

The error message is caused by SelectPay is not able to see the save location path. To update this, follow the steps below.

  1. Click System, and then click Application Configuration.

  2. Click Payroll Configuration, and then click the Report File Paths tab.

  3. Under the relevant section, click Browse.

  4. Navigate to your desired save location and click Ok.

  5. Click Save & Close.

If the issue persists, raise a case confirming the area in the system where the error message appears.
