SelectPay is rejecting the post change as another employee already has the same post. To resolve this, follow the relevant steps below.

Reject the change

If the post change is no longer needed, follow the steps below to reject and delete the change.

  1. Click Payroll, and then click HR.

  2. Click Pending Changes, find and select the required change.

  3. Click Reject Selected, and enter a rejection reason, click Ok.

  4. Click Process, and then click Finish and Restart.

  5. Find and select the required change.

  6. Expand the change by clicking the + icon.

  7. Click the action dropdown, and click Delete.

  8. Click Process, and then click Finish.

Change the post

If the employee post is unique but SelectPay is generating the error message, follow the steps below.

  1. Click System, and then click Post.

  2. Find and select the post you are trying to accept.

  3. Click Open Post.

  4. Change the name and code to something unique.

  5. Click Save and Close.

Go back and accept the pending change, SelectPay will now accept the change.

If you have followed the steps and are still experiencing the error message, raise a case confirming the employee code, post code, and database name.
