If an employee has an open-ended sickness, when processing payroll, SelectPay will automatically calculate SSP up to the pay frequency earnings to date. If you need to enter a sickness end date before the earnings to date of the previous period, follow the steps below.
Find your period earnings to date
Click System, then click Pay Frequency.
Double-click the required pay frequency.
Find the relevant period line, and note down the earnings period to date.
Change the sickness end date
In SelectHR, change the sickness end date to be the earnings period to date.
In SelectPay, click Payroll, then click HR.
Click Sickness, find and expand the required sickness.
Click the action drop-down, then click Approve.
Click Process, then click Payroll.
Click Sickness, and then click Next.
Click Finish.
In SelectHR, change the sickness end date to be the desired date.
In SelectPay, click Payroll, then click HR.
Click Sickness, find the required sickness.
Click the drop-down, then click Approve.
Click Process.
