SelectPay is running slow or crashing

What to do if SelectPay runs slow, crashes, or times out.

There may be times when you encounter performance issues with SelectPay. If this happens, to improve stability and performance, we recommend you complete a reindex of the database.

To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. Take a backup of your data.

  2. Open SelectPay Administrator then click Databases.

  3. Select the relevant database then click Database Tasks.

  4. From the drop-down menu, select Rebuild Indexes.

Once you've done this, if the performance doesn't improve, we recommend you contact your IT department, as the problem may be caused by your server or computer.

If you're hosted with Access, please raise a case online so that we can investigate this further.
