Issues with custom payslips and reports

Custom payslip or report is no longer working.

Following a software upgrade, you may encounter issues with custom work depending on the tables and calculations the custom work relies on.

Hosted

Raise a case with our support team confirming.

  • The name of the report or payslip.

  • When the report or payslips were last working as expected.

  • Behaviour of the issue, including any error message, if they appear.

  • Your normal process for running the report, including any additional parameters entered.


On-premise

Raise a case with our support team, including;

  • A copy of the report or payslip.

  • The search type and view name.

  • When the report or payslips were last working as expected.

  • Behaviour of the issue, including any error message, if they appear.

  • Your normal process for running the report, including any additional parameters entered.

SelectPay Reports Administrator

To download a copy of a custom report or payslip, you will need to use the SelectPay Reports Administrator. To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to the server where SelectPay is installed.

  2. Search Windows for SelectPay Reports Administrator.

    • The default installation location is:- C:\Program Files (x86)\Access Applications\SelectPay v202Xr1\SelectPay Report Administrator\Admin Utility\AccessAccounts.Accounts.AdminUtility.exe

  3. Right click and run the application as administrator.

  4. If requested, enter the SQL server name where the SelectPay databases are held.

  5. Click Ok.

  6. Using the description column, find and select the required report or payslip.

  7. Click the Export icon, select a save location, then click Ok.
