Error: 'You cannot pay SPP later than 39 weeks after the Date of Birth'

When adding the payment start date for statutory paternity pay, an error message prevents me from entering the correct date. You cannot pay SPP later than 39 weeks after the Date of Birth.

From 6 April 2024, paternity leave can be taken at any point within 52 weeks after the date of birth. At present, there is a system limitation that causes the error message, you cannot pay SPP later than 39 weeks after the Date of Birth.

If the date of leave exceeds 39 weeks after the date of birth, you will need to create a new paternity record with an altered date of birth, that will allow the desired dates to be entered. To do this, follow the steps below.
