If you are running into the error message, invalid pointer or system out of memory exception when producing a large number of payslips, it can be caused by a large company logo.
Payslips and reports are produced via Crystal Reports, which is a separate piece of software not supported by The Access Group. This software does have limitations when large images are involved; the memory limit for the Crystal application is 2GB.

Possible resolutions:

  • Use a company logo with a smaller file size in the .BMP format.

  • Remove the image altogether when producing the payslips.

  • Producing your payslips in smaller batches, such as by department.

  3. Click the Name drop-down.

  4. Select the relevant printer.
